  • New encounter map

Weather Presets

Support for new weather presets (staged battles have normal and overcast, war battles have all combinations)

Action Game Misc

  • Show window now uses SW_RESTORE to fix an issue on certain computers not being able to show the window
  • Alligned character sorting with how it is sorted on the flash site
  • When "Icon Fade" is set to off, icons that fade top will still be shown. E.g. when capturing you can still see the capture progress
  • Max spotted icon distance raised to 1000m
  • Skip load requests for textures that are already finished installing.
  • Fix thread names not being displayed. Fixed broken debug Memory View.

    Various Bugfixes - UNSORTED list

    • Player Level dropdown: Wrong icon for "Skirmish" and "Assault" game mode unlocks
    • Supply window stays open with active deploy button when the AT deploys
    • Notification counter for pending friend requests is not animated anymore
    • Battle report: AT list: Scrollbar can not be scrolled up once it was fully scrolled down
    • Battle report: Inviting friends from the AT list doesn't show any feedback
    • Battle Report: AT list: Scroll-sensitivity too high
    • Battle Report: Assault Teams in AT-list have no faction-specific color
    • Fixed multiple issues with the flash client not always remembering the correct window state (fullscreen, maximized, minimized) and scale
    • Fixed: Ingame map is white/blank when spectating
    • Fixed: HUD: Issue with displaying notification for Access Points that were taken by the RTS map
    • Flash content area isn't centered after maximizing the window in the previous session

    I'll wait for a new build release that hopefully fixes major issues instead of these small tweaks.

     

    As long as Squad 2.0 and Spawn 2.0 prevail the game won't be any more fun no matter how many helmet colours we see.

    Absolute TOP request from community is a new map. 

    So that has been and is top priority. Deploying and Squad will be updated with vehicle updated which is being worked on,

    Yes, it is being investigated how we should, first, measure the severity of the problem, second address it, and third measure that the change had the wanted effect.

    While i agree a new map was requested for some time now (so is rework of Forest Town, that put aside) i vaguely recall "new" as in a complete new setting.  But if an encounter map with pretty much the same look and feel as all other maps suits the community, i won't be the one nagging about it.

    Hopefully next step will be rework classic maps then...

    Concerning squad and spawn update (my two out of 5 biggest issues): care to shine some more light on those? Just to prevent another delusion and large amount of disappointment/rage/rant threads that always follow after?

    Or is this meant as a Christmas gift and wrapped up in massive silence?

    Why dont you guys just remove the Adams LuckConefire, its the cause of all this headshot mess, plus people have been asking for its removal for 2 years.

    Vehicle update will NOT be out this year. 

    Reworking maps is being done when necessary, but a lot of focus is on new content. 

    AUX seat limitations are being removed with the token setup and a ton of timers and other confusing stuff is being removed as well and replaced with a clearer, faster much easier to understand system with fewer restrictions. I know people are thinking about how to get early tests out so we can get it tuned before actual release.

    I know it's a bit out of topic but could you please give us your personal opinion about replacing a failed restrictive feature with another restrictive feature?

    What were the "lessons learned" that make you remove AUX seats yet introducing a new restriction?

    The concept of Cone of Fire is really fun, what is unlogical is how they did it + the awful gun sway and Rng hs.

    I do love Battlefield 1 recoil+cone system.

    Fair enough. 

    Less is more from my POV. The less restrictions the more players can utilize skills and freedom and the more they'll enjoy a game.

     

    Now just hoping Reto Logic ® won't let the people down again and we won't be longing back to Squad2.0 once token is there....

     

    I'll go into hibernation then once free vet membership has run out...

    I got a question about the token system ( i dont know if the Q&A got an answer, forgive me if im not going through hours of question ):

    you say AUX limitations are beeing removed, does that mean we got only infantry squads, in which we can select i.e. tank spawns?

    and does the token system will restrict infantry from spawning vehicles or high tier stuff, too?

    if it got answered already i would like to get a link or something.
