We promise you to keep on fighting for fair play by making use of various anti-cheat systems to shield Heroes & Generals from unwanted third party software used to manipulate the game and provide an unfair advantage. We ask you the players to help us ensure fair play by staying clear of cheats and hacks, to use the in-game reporting tool if you suspect someone of cheating, and to be respectful of each other. Zero tolerance Our policy towards cheating is zero tolerance. Remember, even when the provider of the third-party software promise you that their cheats are "undetectable" – that it is not true. Confirmed cheaters who bought Gold will not be entitled to any kind of compensation. Anyone who is found to have, at any point in time, used any kind of third-party software (including macros) designed to cheat while playing Heroes & Generals will be subject to a ban. Do not "try out" a cheat, not even once: You will be permanently banned on all accounts. Neither the legitimate players, nor we, care that you were only "trying it out". Do not expect to get away with excuses like "my brother / son / cat used my account" – you are responsible for any abuse perpetrated by your account. (Do not share your credentials with anyone at anytime, this is prohibited by our Terms of Service, section 8.2 and it is there to protect you). How we catch cheaters We utilize both an automated systems (BattlEye) and manual reviews of replay-files in order to block or catch players using third-party software designed to cheat. Information about how BattlEye works can be found on their website if you want to know more. There are no gold hacks We often see web sites and Youtube videos claiming to provide a gold hack for Heroes & Generals, or 'infinite gold'. Such a hack does not exist. These are scammers and they are only trying to either trick you into sharing confidential data that helps them or a third parties, steal your identity for fraudulent activities or attempting to extract your credit card information or account password in a phishing attack. REPORTING A NEW CHEAT If you know of a new private cheat (ones that aren't on a public website), and can provide the links or the actual binaries, please open a support ticket at http://support.heroesandgenerals.com and file it under the category: Player Reporting - Cheating/Hacking & Exploits and write "New Cheat" as the name of the offender. This way the right people will get the information and you can help improve the game for everybody.
