In this sub-forum you can report a specific bug and the Bug Hunters will gather all intel possible and file it into our internal system in order to be fixed. As they have access to our tools, they can do whatever they need to find the bug.

The Bug Hunters are volunteer players invited by Reto-Moto, with access to some of our tools and they bug hunt during their free time.

Here is your chance to point an issue and help us.

Reminder:

  • 1 bug per topic. If you have found 3 unrelated issues, please post 3 separate topics.
  • The more information you can give about an issue, the better the chances they will gather more intel about it and its causes. Then the better the chance of it getting fixed.
  • Severe bugs that can be exploited should be sent directly to the developers via personal message (PM).
  • Bug Hunters are not developers, do not fix bugs, are not paid to do this and are not allowed to give any detail about the status of the issue. They will just report the bugs into our system.
  • Billing, account/password, game not starting issues etc need to be reported via support ticket https://heroesandgenerals.com/support
  • This is not a discussion sub-forum. Please keep posts related to a bug, and details regarding that bug. Any off-topic discussions will be moderated and removed.
    • Equipment balance talk does not belong to this sub-forum. Do not derail any topics.
  • If the bug is in standalone client, please re-log multiple times to confirm if the bug persists. Flash client has a habit of showing incorrect pictures in places. Re-log usually fixes these things.

We're in dialogue with various Anti-Virus service providers in an effort to avoid H&G-files being flagged as false positives (false alarms from Anti-Virus programs). But we need your help!

If you ever find that any H&G files are being flagged in your anti-virus program, please report a bug through our support system at https://heroesandgenerals.com/support with the subject FALSE-POSITIVE and include as many of the following details as possible:

    Time, date and timezone of the incident
    Name and version of your anti-virus program
    Screenshot of the warning from your anti-virus program
    Date, time and timezone of when your AV-program has updated the virus definitions (and version if possible)
    Other relevant log-files/reports
    [iMPORTANT] A zipped/rar'ed copy of the file(s) being flagged

Fellow Bug Reporters,

If you come across an exploit and wish to report this, please do not report them in public on our forums, as we don't want the exploit to spread.

To report an exploit, please do the following:

  • PM a clear description of the exploit to Reto.Muerteh, Reto.KriegDK, Reto.Greenbow, Reto.Chuckle OR Reto.Splixxen.

ANY exploit you may find, can be directed at any of the 3 persons listed above.

If any exploits are posted in public on the forum, the respective post will be removed.

With the new forum in place, some tidying was done to allow BH to address new bugs. If you had an old report that was closed but is still an active issue, please message on of the bug hunters to return it. 

Please ensure that your issue is not already reported by someone else before starting a new topic.

New Bug Hunters have been added to our ranks in the meantime.

If you wish to report a bug in another language, please ensure that the tag [**] is in the topic title. This applies to the languages listed below.

If you changed the resolution in display options, but get a black screen when launching the game, try this.

Open this in notepad.

You should see a value listed for:

Render.resolution=

 

Copy what resolution you're having issues with, and paste in this thread.

Next, edit the line to the following:

render.resolution="1920x1080"

Save and close. In H&G, try launching an action game, and see if that works.
