The Team Player

So who is the team player?

1. The team player is the player who ignores the first available capture point. Instead he gives up those points to move a spawn vehicle (APC) to a diguised area near a winning objective.

2. He's the medic who runs to your aid.

3. The infantryman who looks out for his armoured team mates, picking of any anti tank soldier sneaking up behind a tank.

4. He stops to give you a ride.

5. He checks when the enemy has tanks and where they come from. He's often seen racing to place mines in pinch points, because if he can stop armour in it's tracks, he can save lives.

6. He flanks around the enemy and hunts down their spawn vehicles, trucks and apc's, he'll capture or destroy them. (It's often a game winner)

7. He'll drive vehicles and park them on crossing points and bridges to make road blocks, at risk of being shot.

8. If he has a decent weapon, he'll leave an enemy weapon on the floor if it's better than the one you have, so you can have it.

9. HE FLANKS AWAY FROM OUR SPAWN VEHICLES so he doesn't give it's position away !!!! Especially when it's concealed.

10.  (fill in the gaps guys and add your own reason, you're a team player :)

See you on the beach.

11.  He often carry a wrench to repair either friendly APC or tanks, after he dealt with the Mr Rambo threatening them.
12. He will stay on objectives to defend them if he sees everyone on his team pushing. Often preventing the point to be lost by a single enemy.
13. When capital objectives are involved, he will F11 from his current position to be able to quickly reinforce the enemies' objective being neutralized by his team's pusher, or his team point being captured by enemies' pushers.
14. He often communicate a lot with his team. Signaling enemy apc movements on the map, or helping tanks to spot other tanks.
15. If he is aware, he will warn friendly vehicles of the presence of mines (either friendly or foes) in the direction they are heading.
16. If he dies on a capital objective, he will share the position of the enemy that killed him with his team.
17. He will spend the credit to deploy anti personnel mines to defend an objective against an incoming hard push (most likely from a clan)

17.5. He will not deploy AP mines at places unavoidable for his own team. Instead, he will leave gaps for his team to safely slip through the minefield.
17.6. Same goes with AT mines.
18. Your team player pilot will not chase the smoking enemy plane. Instead, he will chase the plane chasing your friendly pilot who his chasing the smoking enemy plane.
19. Your team player pilot will avoid unnecessary risks of friendly collision. If 2 pilots are chasing the same plane, he will likely give up the plane kill (and the exp and creds) to avoid losing both his, and his mate's plane if the likely-hood of a collision becomes too high.

20. He will be the APC's "shotgun". He'll blast bazooka rounds on crossings to remove mines and jump out to deal with AT rambos so the APC can escape.

21. He will take the time to clean enemy mines from the spawn.

22. His death from AP mines won't be in vain. The team will get to know about them.

23. He will reply to questions from noobs in chat asking whether they should buy this or that weapon. If Reto won't teach them, the players will have to.

24. If told to press F2 and refrain from capping the last point until enemy blocking troops arrive, he'll do both things because he understand how RTS works.

25. He will carry supply crates on his vehicles, health ones if possible.

26. He puts a camo on his APC. Camos for APC aren't important, but new players trust those who have played long enough to afford them. Trust is important.

27. In war, after surviving a crash with his plane he will undeploy. Pilot tickets are too valuable to waste.

28. He will not spawn a vehicle in the last minute of the battle if the result can't be changed. He knows those are for the next match.

29. He will own finely grinded infantry support characters. He is a master of explosives. He can produce any type of gear the team needs, be it an antitank rifle, a recoilless rifle, a wrench or a bandage. He might not be the best player, but he has planned for every contingency the enemy can throw at the team. He may die, but the enemy won't catch him unprepared.
