The Development Overview board provides an overview of what projects are currently in development at RETO MOTO, so you as players of Heroes & Generals can see what we are working on.

The overview lists both the player-facing projects we are doing such as new content, features and maps. But it also shows the projects that are happening behind the scenes. Development projects you as a player may never even notice, but they are necessary to do to keep the game going.

The Development Overview is a living thing. Projects grow, transform, split into new ones or change all together as we work on them. Sometimes you might even see a project moving backwards in development if we find out something needs to be reworked.

WHAT THE DEVELOPMENT OVERVIEW SHOWS

Our current development projects are sorted into three basic sections based on where they are in our development cycle – early to final development.

This provides an indication of how far along in development a given project is.

The individual projects on the Development Overview vary in size and as such there can be a huge difference as to how long a project remains in one section or another.

The Development Overview also gives you an insight into what project we have chosen to put on hold, which are in test and projects released since the overview was last updated.

The Development Overview will be updated on a monthly basis.

I really dont understand the idea behind the constant UI-changes. As long as the graphics won´t get an upgrade (Which is most likely quite hard with the current engine), the game wont look more modern with this, but rather like a strange mix between old and new elements. Thus i think it only binds ressources which could be used on other projects.

I dont know how much corona affects your coding, but its quite sad to see that all new content is on hold for several months now.

Some of UI-changes are good, some are meh. I personally think that showing weapons of soldier on spawn menu is nice idea because sometimes you dont watn to waste time to determinate one footman from another. With pictures it will be simpler. And I really want to be able to see on that menu who of my soldiers has a broken weapon to not to spawn with grenades only anymore.

Moreover, it will be nice to have a clear button "spawn now", because I still forget sometimes in what order I should to chose a point, a soldier and a transport, and have misspawns with wrong soldier or vehicle. I can imagine how much troubles have newcomers if even experieced player has problems with that part of game after pauses in playing.

Still hoping to find a normal roadmap somwhere in the development overview. Or is it on hold? I can't seem to find it there either.
