More use from Luneville Map

H&G put the Luneville map into the game so specialists have their own map to sharpen their skills without that annoying infantry getting in the way (except bot inf).  Luneville is pretty good size with lots of terrain features and is big enough for air to be used.  It also has a different "feel" to it from other maps.

 

My suggestion is; why can't Reto take the Luneville Map and tweak/adjust/add things so it can be used in the regular game?  Call it "Luneville 2"?  The game is desperate for new maps and most of the work has already been done with Luneville.  Add a few objectives along some lines, an AA gun or two, a few more trees, and of course some rocks...…. and turn it loose.  I never understood why they put "big map effort" into a map that so few players use.

I have to say Mate I like the way your talking it's a good map but almost no one plays in it it would be a gun map for a skirmish game mode I think

The thing is that tweaking a map and then introducing it separately is almost as effective as making a new one. It will require separate support and ovrelooking at it as if it was an another map.

 

More simple would be to introduce it at regular game as it is. However I think that RETO also need some sandbox map to be able to play around with thiout doing too much harm to the course of war or general gameplay.

 

Hence inspite of the fact that I am long for making more maps into the game I will rather put that map intact if only reto really needs somewhere to experiment.
