HOTFIXES

HOTFIX 159620 – [18.06.2019]

* Event runs from June 18th to July 2nd 2019

  • Operation Barbarossa has started
  • New starting capitals for the event*
  • 2 x Soldier rank experience bonus on top of the underdog bonus*
  • Increased XP multiplier for the Battle ribbon x3
    (only for stats that require battle victory, for both soldiers and commanders)*
  • Added ability to skip operation map animation if a match has started
  • Added battle countdown to the operation map animation
  • Made it easier to use ammunition and medic crates
  • Improved stability and recoil on the machine guns when bipods are not mounted
  • Improved recoil on machine guns when bipods are mounted
  • Increased vertical range for bipods
  • Ingame map can now be shown in fullscreen mode
    (This can be disabled in options)

HOTFIX 159533 – [12.06.2019]

  • Increased the captured resources for staged battles by 15%
  • Increased the captured resources for war battles by 100%
  • Fixed thumbnails for wartorn Semi-Automatic skins

HOTFIX 159441 – [07.06.2019]

  • Battle of Dunkirk event has finished
  • Reverted Battle of Dunkirk war settings to normal

HOTFIX 159401 – [05.06.2019]

  • Fixed a problem with vehicle physics

HOTFIX 159390 – [05.06.2019]

  • Fixed a problem with the network optimizations for vehicles
  • Fixed multiple sound issues

 

CHANGELOG – UPDATED JUNE. 4 2019

Bipods and Weapon Updates

  • Bipods are now available on all machine guns with bipods
  • Replaced old M1919A4 with the new M1919A6 which has bipods
  • Updated textures and existing skins for physically based rendering to M1 Garand, Gewehr 43 and Tokarev SVT-40 for better visuals
  • Changed text decals on M1 Garand
  • Made battle worn skins for M1 Garand, Gewehr 43 and Tokarev SVT-40 ready when Battle of Dunkirk ends

Gameplay Changes

  • To use a crate you must now look at it
  • Increased the consistency of vehicle collision with characters
  • Added camera recoil effects to mountable machine guns
  • Player now unmounts bipod if places on a destructable which is destroyed
  • Player now exit prone if prone on a destructable which is destroyed
  • Fixed players dying when going prone on a vehicle
  • Reduced push force on explosions on vehicles by 40%

Audio Updates

  • New rifle sounds for M1 Garand, Gewehr 43 and Tokarev SVT-40
  • Updates reload sounds for M18 Recoilless Rifle, Granatbüchse 39 and PTRS-41
  • Tweaked weapon audio rate of fire synchronization
  • Increased amount of shot sounds for weapons
  • Weapons and vehicle can now be heard further away

Ribbons and Progression

  • Decreased prices on ribbon boosters for tier 1 weapons and vehicles
  • Decreased prices on ribbon completion for tier 1 weapons and vehicles
  • Increased multiplier on ribbon boosters from 75% to 150-200% depending on ribbon

I have read the changelog three times now, but I can't see anything about weapon balance tweaking.

 

There is also nothing about War changes, gravity changes or anything like that...

all lmg's have more recoil in all direction making them hard to control now and bipod reduces this abit but doesn't make them op laser guns, finally the rest of the lmg's have come down to the mg42's level when it got nerfed to hell years ago

Bipod deploying dont work good and without bipod LMG is almost useless.

So no.

Bipods working ok for me and the lmg still work ok without bipod but not at long ranges which is much more realistic as they should be hard to control if they are not bipod mounted

I am OK if LMGs are hard to control without bipod. But the problem is that in current state is very hard to find spots where you can deploy it. Its imposibble for me to deploy it for example on cars or small walls. Yes, you can go prone, but you wont see anything due to grass and fckin bushes.

 I deploy the bipod alot on car bonnet and back of motorcycle with good effect and also on the walls and sandbags etc. also lots of sneaky spots to deploy them in forests while prone :)

Hmmm

- Constant lag/jitter/rubber banding / server connections problems not fixed....

- Constant crashes in RTS... no fix? It's a pretty critical error...

- No server filter (to filter out that dreaded Moscow server)..

- Spawn menu zoom out bug leading to unwanted spastic spawns not fixed..

- Positional audio system not fixed (yeah, you can hear them further away but not from what direction still?)..

- Running out of resources and not able to spawn bug not fixed?....

- Stuck in loading screen bug not fixed?.....

- Death pits in maps not fixed?.....

 

Not sure what to say about this latest 'up' date.. Not particularly interested in yet another weapon type nor those bipods some have been dreaming of (not realizing bipods is going to be yet another game breaking feature in the current version of the game, mark my words!... Bipods would have been fun YEARS ago guys geez.)...

 

Ergo: Nothing to see here for me...

Ow wait, do like the bouncing vehicles and that you can drive under maps now (/sarcasm)

Vehicles are unplayable as in prototipe.... ALL Vehicles and even tanks have PARKENSON disease... close game for cold fix already....

Please remove or nerf this " Added camera recoil effects to mountable machine guns" @Reto.Hades

 

It is just ruining the gameplay and it is like playing with motion blur x100... makes one feel dizzy after like 4 mags.... Any big camera recoil effect in FPS shooter games are just stupid, especially this.. it feels like a earthquake when shootin any lmg.

I've not had a problem with them so far? Driven the tanks, cars, flying and all seemed fine

The sound changes are cool and all, but I find myself not able to enjoy them because there just doesn't seem to be any depth to them. I've played this game for a long time, and back in the day I could tell where someone was firing from. Was he inside or outside a building? What floor was he on? What tree or bush was he hiding behind or in? Now it's just noise from a certain direction. I can't gauge distance, height and to some degree even direction.


Sure the old sound system had it's quirks, but it worked. I'm no programmer. I don't know what the difference in sound system is for you devs between this one and the old one, but isn't there something you can do to get that spacial awareness back into the game?

It's not a laser gun anymore so yeah the domination will be at it's end and a new meta will begin
