    you explained it so beautifuly it is like somethign my great grandfather would have said. I have to say that I would really want to ( and developers also) agree with you and that should be the ideal purpose for recons but we all know what and how recons play this game... sitting on edges of battlefield being a waste of players slots for their team. even if they eventualy do get to cap they are still weak 1v1. and thats the sad truth here my friend

    You do more harm than good with recon ats, every noob spawns a recon and sits on edge of map while enemy caps points without much trouble

    ok tnx for explaining. yeah i played full rof as well but with iron sights, started playing with scope since "updates" and recently dropped the weapon completely. i tried m2 and stg and they are as laser as ever... bullshid weapon balance like always ggwp reto

    I would say there was no reason to change anything with weapons in general. remember how it was in around 2018 after introducing mg13 and bipod bullshid. all guns felt good to play with across all factions ž now we have what ? 3 rounds or so of "weapon balancing" which is screwing up balance more and more every update and no ammount of critique can change the oblivious developers mind to just revert it back to how it was. now that people switched avs for tokarev again I cant wait for retos rectal alpinists to cry for more nerfs on su

    around 10 threads about bots being trash and not belonging into this game and what does this prove, that reto doesnt give a flying fukc about player input. same goes with weapon balance etc. your efforts here are in vain. you will just recieve "working as intended" message as always.

    first of all don't say other players suck because that's a pathetic thing to do on forum. faster ttk exists only in statistics right now. avs should be played full rof modded and right now its unusable because FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME: it sways too much and recoils randomly everywhere in your viewing field. so your famous ttk only plays a part in cqc only. TL.DR for dumbos: maybe and just maybe it's only advantage is in 1v1 close range combat against some weapons and I wouldn't say it's even that anymore. also regarding svt recoil: it's impossible to control recoil because its completely randomly programmed, I have tested for tens of times that every bullet be it standing, prone or crouching /even fatigued the next bullet always kicks the gun in different direction ( be it completely left, hard diagonal up-righ. slightly up, etc. etc.) only way to actually fix that fcking spastic recoil is that you remove bullet mods from it and scout barrel (-pointless) or possibly add heavy spring. but the recoil will still be random. you cant expect players to enter in a match in FPS GAME and look at the gun recoiling in every possible direction disregarding the complete human anatomy, the insides of a gun, catridge, position of holding be it ads or hip - and have them say " hmmm yes this is exactly how a proper fps game should work like, how convenient." it is just broken fps gaming experience. on a side note I cannot speak 100% percent surely on gewehr and garand because I have played those guns very little since updates (garand a few matches and gewehr none) but it seems to me that all three of semi autos work very similarly . eg, recoil is very much the same and guns feel similar to eachother. I would only say that garand is the worst of the three becaus of obvious 8 bullet magazine and that hideous ding dong reload sound which gives you away very quickly. gewehr has a bit of a shltty scope position so you have a big black chunk below it that obscures vision. still a nice gun though.

    a bit too many ger and us clowns mains running their mouths on how soviets should use their guns. I don't remember anyone asking you to play quality control inspectors on our equipement. btw, remember some time ago when every answer to m2 not 1 bullet headshoting, beind unstable af, etc. resulted in the meme answer "lErN to AiM wiTh M1G nUb" . we are in a bit of the same situation here. any skilled soviet player can still outperform his enemies if he is using avs but that doesn't speak of the weapons quality but speks of player's skill using something that is a handicap (blahjah explained very nicely its mediocrity in every battle situation).

    its because maybe you are playing first encounter or matches against bots and then even if you kill bots you dont get kills in your statistic. it only counts kills on human players

    I have noticed bug in the stats that when you let statistics stay open while you join a match, at the end of match all the numbers get doubled ( for example if you have total od 2000 kills it will go up to 4000 etc. ) even if it stays open for a few matches in a row then the original number will be multiplied by x ammount of matches you played. it's really weird and confusing but, just open and close the statistic to see your real numbers. hope this helps

    True that they dont have it. However even if they had it they would still get trashed to the point that they wouldnt notice if they take 100 percent or 85 percent damage. There is a learning curve in this game that consists of learning optimal loadouts ,badges, but most of all map knowledge(positions, spawn locations, general paths to follow) and that takes time to learn as it is the most valuable knowledge in this game. While they learn it they will already have heavy set which is realisticaly extremely important to play because of the sheer layout of maps which allow for people to camp on you with BAs , etc. You know that already. You cant expect new players to be on par with experienced ones with hundreds of hours on this game and it doesnt even look like a good business model aswell. I blame it on reto for not making tutorials detailing exactly what new players deal with in war-objectives classes weapons apcs etc. Not just drop them on a huge map let them run on open field being target practice for other players.

    they are the only ones to ever complain about it. so yeah spot on. every decent assault player in war has heavy set gold, how exactly is it breaking the balance if everyone has it? maybe its just pissing 1.9 zoom infantry snipers that are pixel hunting from across the river when they eventually land that 1/20 fired shots on somebody and then the guy doesnt instantly die. If you 1v1 someone with high rof weapon it almost doesnt even matter. so you can probably deduce yourself who is complaining about hEavyY sET nERFff

    it sucks to the point i stopped using it completely. right now it hasn't got a single one advantage over other two ARs, awful spastic recoil, small mag and still ludicrous reload time of 6.0 secs per every 30 shots from m2 ( comes to ingame 3.0 reload for avs). even if you play it stock, which is pointless if its your home factions gun- you are at a serious dissadvantage against decked out enemy. I just still don't get how/why reto moto keeps the same garbage performance on it for months now, with all the overwhelmingly negative feedback on it... also I see less and less of avs in soviet union in general, captured stg is quite oftenly seen tho. and dp (funnily enough) which is supposedly our best lmg right now, another pointless reBALaNcE just sad
  21. you get headshoted because of the conefire, wider cone + high rof = more chances for headshot. so you get headshoted because of the inaccuracy rather than accuracy. which automaticaly contradicts the next thing you said. thats why zero skill mp40/stg people headshot so much because its rng and strafe fire everywhere on max rof until they get lucky, no real aiming involved _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ on further note I am very interested what will reto do next regarding "weapon balance" megaproject since the most feedback on this is quite negative, it is really weird to see that the community manager hasnt replied to anything since monday. Has the developer team given up on this finally? I still think that with few very easy to do changes we can achieve gunplay that is pleasant for every faction, just listen to players feedback for once.

    I preffer pps, more damage and better accuracy, feels more like a proper gun to me. It's easy to play with and its easirer to hit targets a bit more distant than with ppd/ppš. If you are planing to have only one smg soldier than i would probably choose pps because of its versatility. but blajhaj gave you legit advice also, it's just that you will figure out that smgs are a very specific weapon for close quarters and the maps are huge, so there is that. good luck

    m2 depended on tight grip for full rof and had a reload time of 1.5 sec on every 15 bullets (3.0 full 30 round mag, that is pre reload nerf) avs had 3.5ish i think or 3,3. its more than double time for reload avs back then. also there was no viable other option to play avs but with fast reload. I dont really ( and i have said it before) understand why any of the us mains complained about m2 pre "updated" since it was unbeatable 1v1 and had a good mid range game ( i prefered using dead eye on it). .. avs in the other hand is a meme right now, i cant say that I even consider soviet union to be a faction that has a viable assault rifle any more, hence people running with stock stgs - pathetic and now for a rhetoric question. can reto moto really be this clueless about the state of some weapons like the delusional anime picture guy from a few comments before? can we really hope that our weapon balance god reto hades will revert back to 2018 state or is writting all of this just pissing in the wind.

    staged matches have a fair occupancy, its not 18 v 18 but 15 v 15 and its playable. the lack of real players is a pathetic excuse to add bots to their game. its like "nobody wants to play this game so we programmed it to play itself" . they are badly made, buggy, have x ray vision. they just waste your credits if you shoot them. they are just 0/10 complete miss for this game, when a new war is starting and there is no battles yet i play staged sometimes and boy do i feel kinda disgraced when I have to play with bots. its just wrong. and dont make excuses for reto, its just pathetic. it has been said so many times that bots are utter shirt and they dont belong in this game. pull your heads out of your asses already people..
