    Sleep my little Prince...

Thought it was the opposite, right? https://heroesandgenerals.com/?p=20617/hip-fire-cone-fire-updated-with-adams-update Ah yeah, shame... Don't think anyone's ever been convinced about this 'more consistency' idea.

Not particularly, though I recall you saying and I'd go as far to say they're not completely comparable in a way that would allow one to determine which is 'better', apart from what someone would personally prefer to use. Otherwise, objectively speaking it would be difficult to 'prove' any superiority on either side.

I don't personally have a problem with the length of a suggestion, but when you put a bunch of suggestions in a single message and the only voting option is like/dislike, how am I supposed to tell if people like one suggestion, a few of 'em, none at all, or all of them? It's just completely infeasible to accurately measure community feedback towards a suggestion if it's mixed with others in the same message. That's why the rule is that if you have more than one distinct idea for a suggestion, put them in different messages.

This rule is in place because it is impossible to properly gauge opinions from emoji reactions on a suggestion if it's a wall of text with multiple points being made. While it's a shame there's a one hour cooldown in the channel, it's better to have separate messages so it's clear what exactly people do or don't like about your suggestions.

Whatever you say... I've now gotta figure out how to be ashamed of being part of such a community

Fair enough, I just thought my experience of the Discord server wasn't that people talked every second of the day 24/7...

I dunno, reddit also has the 'recency' problem, I mean, looking at our own subreddit's front page it only goes back to a mere two or three days worth before I'll have to go to the next page and see the posts slide into irrelevancy. Not quite so sure... if the devs aren't already talking on the Discord server, they probably won't start now either with the closure of the forums. Personally I only see four moderators online in the member list who I can actually expect to engage with the rest of the community over the course of a week, only one of which I in practice actually see talking on a daily basis. Unless of course, you're suggesting someone who's not already on the Discord server is going to come over and act in such a way - I wouldn't really know about that sort of stuff myself... Might be a bit of an overstatement of how active the Discord server is... I get the sentiment though, even if I in practice do in fact look up what people have said in the past quite frequently in order to verify my own knowledge about topics. Probably just me though...

    Goodbye forum warriors

Hmmm yes, "we don't know how to deal with the outdated web framework for the forums, so we just completely give up on it" Shame that's the way it goes....

    Goodbye forum warriors

Shame that discussions like these will never be wrapped up, there won't be another place like the Wiki Army Talk (even with how dead it is now) to discuss work on the Gamepedia (as well as adding a Clan Page if anyone even wants to do that anymore), and we'll only have the subreddit left for any devs to speak out (if at all)... Ah well...

Okay... but where exactly is the problem? Since that's already the case. Only issue I can see currently is that the M1 Garand can't 2HK HSG when using Match, M72 on its own - while the Gewehr 43 and SVT-40 can with their Anschusspatrone s.S. and 7N1 Sniper ammo respectively, and all these ammo types are unlocked at the same time.

Not that it's ever been useful, but 58 (Bertie Clay Mk III (h)) × 0.81 × 1.03 (Heavy Bolt) × 1.061 (Chrome Lined Barrel) = 51.3411534 round down to 51 So still 2HK, just requiring all the damage mods now.

Yes, that's the main problem and I'm not sure how the whole 'horizontal recoil' system is supposed to work, which is annoying when trying to understand Tight Grip. Well 'cameraRecoil' is just your view being shifted in a certain direction so its effect on accuracy can be completely mitigated by mouse movements. Maybe cameraRecoilVariance makes this harder to do but unless it affects some other part of recoil that I can't find the exact stats and values for then I'm not sure why so much attention has been brought to it. I'm not sure what you mean by 'Visual Recoil', but if it refers to the gun model bouncing about then that shouldn't affect accuracy at all. Only thing left that I know is sway, but I dunno how exactly it works now as it doesn't seem to really be about where the gun is pointing at - at least since the Adams update. But the gun model is still animated as if that was the case and everyone who's used a scope with the 'ARs' knows how much sway can be a problem so...

It determines the maximum value that can be added to or subtracted from the normal cameraRecoil values. So, for instance the AVS-36 will have a base cameraRecoilUp value of 1.92 and a cameraRecoilVariance value of 0.13, so for every shot it can have a value as low as 1.79 or as high as 2.05 for cameraRecoilUp. What I haven't been able to determine is what values Tight Grip affects in terms of 'horizontal recoil'...

@Reto.Hades, you forgot to mention the PMK-40 change. And the large grenades' original fuse time?
