ATTENTION! The content of this article is more than three months old and may not be relevant to the current version of the game

Today we are releasing the Update 1.10.1 for Heroes & Generals containing a bit of new content, tweaks and updates. 

The Update 1.10.1 is a minor update as the game developers are busy working on the socalled Mission Critical projects that you might already have read about in the latest Letter from the CEO.

Extra attack lines on Factory

For a while now we wanted to add two extra attack lines to the Factory map making it match the other assault maps in the game – an improvement that has also been requested by the community.
Adding the extra attack lines to Factory provide more complexity to the map, and with the adjustments made to the existing lines, this results in fresh and new gameplay experiences on a map with better coherence.

New batch of Vehicle Paint Jobs

With the 1.10.1 update we are adding in another batch of Vehicle Paint Jobs for all factions – among these the much requested paint job for the German Panzer V Panther Ausf. G.

You will find new paint jobs for these 12 vehicles:

  • German Light Tank: Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. L
  • Soviet Light Tank: T-26 Model 1933
  • Soviet Light Tank: T-70 Model 1942
  • US Light Tank: M24 Chaffee
  • German Medium Tank: Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. H
  • German Medium Tank: Panzerkampfwagen Panther Ausf. G
  • Soviet Medium Tank: T-34/76 Model 1942
  • US Medium Tank:M4A3E8 Sherman ‘Easy 8’
  • US Heavy Tank: M4A3E2 Sherman ‘Jumbo’
  • Soviet Infantry Vehicle: GAZ-67
  • US Infantry Vehicle: Truck, ¼ ton, 4×4
  • German Infantry Vehicle: Kübelwagen Typ 82

Performance tweaks to the user interface

You will now experience a more responsive user interface when switching between characters and when changing character equipment such as weapons, vehicles, badges, uniforms and helmets.

Action game memory handling

We have made a number of changes to how the game handles sharing and caching of shaders thereby reducing memory usage. In addition we made tweaks to handle memory more effectively on low spec 64 bit computers.


We decided to change the the headshot multiplier back to x4 from the previous x5.
