In the coming update named Young (after US brigadier-general Gordon Russell Young) we’re adding a brand-new weapon to the game. The much requested Soviet submachinegun the PPS-43 or as it is known in Russian the ППС – “Пистолет-пулемёт Судаева” (Pistolet-pulemyot Sudaeva) which translates as Sudaeva’s submachinegun.

The Soviet PPS-43 unlocks on the SMG Assault Ribbon at Rank 11 as the THIRD Soviet SMG. It is a compact and light SMG with good handling and range.
In the factory configuration it has a rate of fire of 553 rpm and a reload time of 3.0 seconds. Upgrades are available once you unlock them by progressing on the “PPS-43 Specialist Ribbon”. The magazine holds 35 rounds.

Compared to the other Soviet SMGs this is handles more like the German MP40 and the American Thompson with comparable damage at range and ease of use.

OTHER WEAPON BALANCE UPDATES
Alongside the PPS-43 we’are also doing a few other smaller tweaks to existing weapons.
M3 Grease Gun
