First of all, what is your gamertag in Heroes & Generals, and what’s the story behind it?

– 13 the red kite, the black kite, any kind of falcon,
– 14 any kind of raven,
– 15 the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,

– 17 the desert owl, the osprey, the cormorant,
– 18 the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat.

For how long have you been working here?
7-8 months

What games have you worked on?
I created the characters for Kane & Lynch: Deadmen and Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days.
Concept work (mainly Characters for a unpublished game)
Characters for Hitman 5: Absolution.

Which tools do you use for making Heroes & Generals?
XSI Softimage as main 3D program.
Marvelous Designer for some fancy folding on cloth.
Zbrush to make supertrooper Highres.
xNormal to generate the maps
And Photoshop for the final texture polish.

What are your hobbies?
Sculpting, painting, drawing…..playing.

What’s the best thing about Heroes & Generals?
That it is awesome fun. A AAA game running in your browser.

What’s the best thing about working at Reto-Moto?
The people – talented and hardcore.

What are you working on right now?
Shaders and prototype of the Characters look in the game.

What are your favorite games of all time?
Uncharted series, Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Mount and Blade, Doom 3, Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Blade Runner, Deus Ex, System Shock, Severance: Blade of Darkness, Assassins Creed 1+2+3, Metal Gear Solid 1+2+3+4 + psp versions, The Last Express, CoD series, Manhunt,  Silent Hill 2.

What are your favorite movies?
Blade Runner.
Tetsuo 2: Body hammer.
Akira.
The movies by Kurosawa and Ghibli Studio.
Wim Wenders Movies like Paris Texas, Der Himmel über Berlin, Don’t come knocking etc.
Cohen Brothers – The Big Lebowski, No Country for old men.
Big fan of David Lynch.
Twilight Samurai.
Down by Law..
And all time favorite – Lassie Come Home.
